JOB DESCRIPTION
Växjö Municipality is looking for someone who wants to make a real difference for people who are far from the labor market. As a coordinator in the Collaboration Team Värend, you will have a meaningful and developing assignment where you work qualitatively with individuals with health issues and complex needs. Through a coordinating approach, you provide support to individuals on their path to work or studies.
The Collaboration Team Värend is a long-term initiative funded by the Coordination Association Värend, a collaboration between the Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, Region Kronoberg, and the municipalities of Växjö, Alvesta, Lessebo, Tingsryd, and Uppvidinge. The purpose of the initiative is to strengthen support for individuals with complex needs through local coordinators who work closely with participants and other actors.
As one of our coordinators is leaving their position, we are now looking for an engaged and skilled colleague to join our team in Växjö Municipality. The employment is in Växjö Municipality in the unit for Initiatives and Matching, and your assignment is full-time as a coordinator in the Coordination Association Värend.
As a coordinator in the Collaboration Team Värend, you will be part of a work team where you:
- Support individuals in contact with authorities, healthcare, and municipal services based on the participant's needs.
- Contribute to participants achieving progress towards self-sufficiency through internships, education, counseling, and supportive activities.
- Provide motivational conversations, guidance on work-related issues, and support in applications and contacts with authorities.
- Collaborate with actors in healthcare, the Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, and municipal services.
- Plan and follow up on initiatives together with the participant to promote long-term and sustainable planning.
- Actively contribute to the development work of the initiative by participating in joint method and operational development.
Your work and assignment may change based on directional decisions and needs within the Coordination Association Värend.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
- Has relevant education for the role, preferably in behavioral science, social work, rehabilitation, or a related field, or has equivalent professional experience.
- Has experience with coordinating approaches and collaboration with multiple actors.
- Has experience working with individuals with health issues and complex needs.
- Has experience with motivational conversations or coaching focused on work life, rehabilitation, and health.
You are engaged, attentive, and have the ability to build relationships and trust with the individuals you work with. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and your ability to see solutions based on each participant's circumstances.
A driver's license (B) is required.
